In order to create anticipation for this fiftieth birthday party in Tahiti, we sent the invitation in two phases. Guests first received a message in a bottle enticing them to look forward to the information to come. Soon afterwards, each guest received a wooden treasure chest with information about their trip. A hand-drawn treasure map and "legend" explaining their travel arrangements and activities were accompanied by live orchids in this invitation to paradise.
